Great place for a fuel stop. Avoid the congested airspace of the Ogden-Salt Lake City-Provo corridor. Fly Direct to Evanston ! Don't get in line with the airliners and take the crazy routing to the other side of the mountains. After a quick stop and an easy departure you can just fly over the top of the big city traffic as you are headed direct to your destination.

Evanston is also the best airport for hunting trips to the Chalk Creek canyon ranches, north face of the Uinta Mountains and the Deseret Ranch.
